Converge Note AI — Terms of Service Last updated: April 4, 2026
1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using Converge Note AI (“the App”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree, do not use the App.
These Terms form a legally binding agreement between you and Pasito Tola (“we,” “us,” or “our”), the individual developer of Converge Note AI.
2. Description of Service
Converge Note AI is an iOS application that provides AI-powered transcription and note-taking services, including:
- Audio recording and transcription
- YouTube video transcription
- PDF and document analysis
- AI-assisted summarisation, translation, and action item extraction
- A personal library for storing and reviewing transcription results
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use the App. By using the App, you confirm that you meet this requirement. If you are under 18, you confirm that a parent or guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms on your behalf.
4. Account Registration
To access the full features of the App, you must create an account using a valid email address and password, or sign in with Apple. You are responsible for:
- Keeping your account credentials secure
- All activity that occurs under your account
- Notifying us immediately of any unauthorised use
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
5. Subscriptions and Payments
5.1 Free Tier The App offers limited free use. Free users may perform up to 3 transcriptions before being required to upgrade to a paid plan or credit pack.
5.2 Paid Subscriptions We offer the following auto-renewable subscriptions, billed through Apple in-app purchase:
- Converge Pro Monthly — $6.99 per month
- Converge Pro Annual — $39.99 per year (saves 52% vs monthly)
5.3 Credit Packs We offer one-time consumable credit packs for additional transcription usage:
- Starter Pack — 5 transcription credits for $1.99
- Power Pack — 20 transcription credits for $4.99
Credit packs are consumable purchases. Once credits are used they cannot be restored. You may purchase multiple packs at any time.
5.4 Billing and Renewal All subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. Your Apple ID account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period. You can manage and cancel subscriptions at any time in iPhone Settings → your name → Subscriptions, or at https://apps.apple.com/account/subscriptions.
5.5 Refunds All purchases are final and non-refundable except as required by applicable law or Apple’s refund policies. To request a refund, contact Apple directly at https://reportaproblem.apple.com.
5.6 Price Changes We reserve the right to change subscription prices with reasonable notice. Continued use of the App after a price change takes effect constitutes your acceptance of the new price.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the App to:
- Transcribe content you do not have the legal right to process
- Upload or process content that is illegal, harmful, defamatory, obscene, or infringes on third-party rights
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract source code from the App
- Use automated scripts or bots to access our backend services
- Circumvent subscription or credit limits through technical means
- Resell, sublicense, or redistribute the App or its output commercially without our written consent
- Violate any applicable local, national, or international law
7. Content and Intellectual Property
7.1 Your Content You retain ownership of all audio, video, and documents you submit to the App (“Your Content”). By submitting content, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to process it solely for the purpose of providing the transcription service.
7.2 Our Content The App, its design, code, branding, and AI-generated output formatting are owned by us or our licensors. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the App outside of its intended use.
7.3 Transcription Output AI-generated transcriptions and summaries are provided for personal use only. Accuracy is not guaranteed. Do not rely on transcription output for legal, medical, financial, or safety-critical decisions without independent verification.
8. Third-Party Services
The App integrates with the following third-party services, each governed by their own terms and privacy policies:
- Firebase (Google) — authentication, analytics, and crash reporting
- RevenueCat — subscription and purchase management
- OpenAI — AI transcription (Whisper) and summarisation (GPT-4o-mini)
- Microsoft Azure — document intelligence for PDF processing
- Railway — secure backend hosting
We are not responsible for the actions, content, or practices of these third-party providers.
9. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE APP IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
We do not warrant that the App will be error-free or uninterrupted, that transcription output will be accurate or complete, or that the App will meet your specific requirements.
10. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF DATA, LOSS OF PROFITS, OR LOSS OF GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE APP.
OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM THESE TERMS OR YOUR USE OF THE APP SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.
11. Data Loss
The App stores your transcription library locally on your device. We are not responsible for data loss resulting from device failure, app deletion, iOS updates, or any other cause. We strongly recommend backing up your device regularly using iCloud or iTunes.
12. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time for violation of these Terms or for any other reason at our discretion, with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately.
You may delete your account at any time through the Settings screen inside the App. Account deletion permanently removes all associated data.
13. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the “Last updated” date at the top of this document and, where appropriate, by sending an in-app notice. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
14. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which the developer resides, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation before pursuing binding arbitration or litigation in a court of competent jurisdiction.
